I am writing with regards to your memorial plot at INSERT SITE NAME, the lease of which is due a renewal between now and June 2024. Earlier this year, we reviewed our pricing model for renewals, looking at how we can make the price as fair and consistent as possible, taking into consideration present economic factors. Subsequently, we have revised our method to reflect the Retail Pricing Index (RPI) model between the time of purchase and now, meaning that you will be offered a renewal price that is reflective of the time of your original purchase. For example, if a memorial was £500 for 20 years in 2003, the combined RPI rate since then is 42%, meaning the price would be £710 for the equivalent lease length. Additionally, we would offer a further 10% reduction on this price, if taken before 31st December 2023. Please refer to the enclosed leaflet for more information.
